DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Communicate electronically and in person with computer users experiencing difficulties to determine and document problems experienced.
  • Consult user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions.
  • Reproduce, diagnose and resolve technical problems encountered by users.
  • Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Provide business systems, network and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Collect, organize and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and other software.
  • Setup equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
  • Perform webserver backup and recovery operations.
  • Manage incidents.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least six months of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Self-motivated and works well independently and in a team environment.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Solid knowledge of office procedures.
  • Experience with office management software like Adobe PDF and MS Office (MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Publisher, and MS Word, specifically)
  • Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Language.
